SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PHF1 (PHD finger protein 1, also called hPHF1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PHF1 qPCR Primer Set – PHD finger protein 1
Also known as: MTF2L2, PCL1, TDRD19C, hPHF1
About this gene: PHF1 encodes a Polycomb group protein. The protein is a component of a histone H3 lysine-27-specific methyltransferase complex, and functions in transcriptional repression of homeotic genes. The protein is also recruited to double-strand breaks, and reduced protein levels leads to X-ray sensitivity and increased homologous recombination.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5252; HGNC ID: HGNC:8919; UniProt: O43189; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024165.3; Chromosome location: 6p21.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
