SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PGLYRP1 (peptidoglycan recognition protein 1, also called PGRP-S) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PGLYRP1 qPCR Primer Set – peptidoglycan recognition protein 1
Also known as: PGLYRP, PGRP, PGRP-S, PGRPS, TAG7, TNFSF3L
About this gene: PGLYRP1 enables multiple functions, including Hsp70 protein binding activity; peptidoglycan binding activity; and peptidoglycan immune receptor activity. It is involved in antimicrobial humoral immune response mediated by antimicrobial peptide; defense response to Gram-positive bacterium; and detection of bacterium. Is active in obsolete extracellular space.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8993; HGNC ID: HGNC:8904; UniProt: O75594; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005091.3; Chromosome location: 19q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
