SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PGAP1 (post-GPI attachment to proteins inositol deacylase 1, also called hPGAP1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PGAP1 qPCR Primer Set – post-GPI attachment to proteins inositol deacylase 1
Also known as: Bst1, ISPD3024, MRT42, NEDDSBA, SPG67
About this gene: The PGAP1 protein functions early in the glycosylphosphatidylinositol biosynthetic pathway, catalyzing the inositol deacylation of GPI. The encoded protein is required for the production of GPI that can attach to proteins. Defects in PGAP1 are a cause an autosomal recessive form of cognitive impairment.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80055; HGNC ID: HGNC:25712; UniProt: Q75T13; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024989.4; Chromosome location: 2q33.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
