SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PFN1 (profilin 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PFN1 qPCR Primer Set – profilin 1
Also known as: ALS18, PDB7
About this gene: PFN1 belongs to the profilin family of small actin-binding proteins. The PFN1 protein is important for actin dynamics by regulating actin polymerization in response to extracellular signals. Deletion of PFN1 is linked to Miller-Dieker syndrome, and the PFN1 protein may also play a role in Huntington disease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5216; HGNC ID: HGNC:8881; UniProt: P07737; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005022.4; Chromosome location: 17p13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
