SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PFKP (phosphofructokinase, platelet, also called PFK-P) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PFKP qPCR Primer Set – phosphofructokinase, platelet
Also known as: ATP-PFK, PFK-C, PFK-P, PFKF
About this gene: PFKP belongs to the phosphofructokinase A protein family. The encoded enzyme is the platelet-specific isoform of phosphofructokinase and is central to glycolysis regulation. PFKP may play a role in metabolic reprogramming in some cancers, including clear cell renal cell carcinomas, and cancer of the bladder, breast, and lung.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5214; HGNC ID: HGNC:8878; UniProt: Q01813; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002627.5; Chromosome location: 10p15.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
