SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PFKM (phosphofructokinase, muscle, also called PFK-A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PFKM qPCR Primer Set – phosphofructokinase, muscle
Also known as: ATP-PFK, GSD7, PFK-1, PFK-A, PFK1, PFKA, PFKX, PPP1R122
About this gene: Three phosphofructokinase isozymes exist in humans: muscle, liver and platelet. These isozymes function as subunits of the mammalian tetramer phosphofructokinase, which catalyzes the phosphorylation of fructose-6-phosphate to fructose-1,6-bisphosphate. Tetramer composition varies depending on tissue type.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5213; HGNC ID: HGNC:8877; UniProt: P08237; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000289.6; Chromosome location: 12q13.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
