SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PFKL (phosphofructokinase, liver type, also called PFK-L) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PFKL qPCR Primer Set – phosphofructokinase, liver type
Also known as: ATP-PFK, PFK-B, PFK-L
About this gene: PFKL encodes a liver subunit of an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of D-fructose 6-phosphate to D-fructose 1,6-bisphosphate, which is a key step in glucose metabolism. This enzyme is a tetramer that may be composed of different subunits encoded by distinct genes in different tissues.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5211; HGNC ID: HGNC:8876; UniProt: P17858; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002626.6; Chromosome location: 21q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
