Human PFDN1 qPCR Primer Set – prefoldin subunit 1
Also known as: PDF, PFD1
About this gene: PFDN1 belongs to the prefoldin beta subunit family. The PFDN1 protein is one of six subunits of prefoldin, a molecular chaperone complex that binds and stabilizes newly synthesized polypeptides, thereby allowing them to fold correctly. The complex, consisting of two alpha and four beta subunits, forms a double beta barrel assembly with six protruding coiled-coils.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5201; HGNC ID: HGNC:8866; UniProt: O60925; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002622.5; Chromosome location: 5q31.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
