Human PEX14 qPCR Primer Set – peroxisomal biogenesis factor 14
Also known as: NAPP2, PBD13A, Pex14p, dJ734G22.2
About this gene: PEX14 encodes a essential component of the peroxisomal import machinery. The protein is integrated into peroxisome membranes with its C-terminus exposed to the cytosol, and interacts with the cytosolic receptor for proteins containing a PTS1 peroxisomal targeting signal. The protein also acts as a transcriptional corepressor and interacts with a histone deacetylase.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5195; HGNC ID: HGNC:8856; UniProt: O75381; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004565.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
