SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPARGC1B (PPARG coactivator 1 beta, also called PGC-1-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPARGC1B qPCR Primer Set – PPARG coactivator 1 beta
Also known as: ERRL1, PERC, PGC-1(beta), PGC1B
About this gene: The PPARGC1B protein stimulates the activity of multiple transcription factors and nuclear receptors, including estrogen receptor alpha, nuclear respiratory factor 1, and glucocorticoid receptor. The PPARGC1B protein may be involved in fat oxidation, non-oxidative glucose metabolism, and the regulation of energy expenditure. The PPARGC1B protein is downregulated in prediabetic and type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 133522; HGNC ID: HGNC:30022; UniProt: Q86YN6; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_133263.4; Chromosome location: 5q32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
