SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PEPD (peptidase D, also called Prolidase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PEPD qPCR Primer Set – peptidase D
Also known as: PROLIDASE
About this gene: PEPD belongs to the peptidase family. The protein forms a homodimer that hydrolyzes dipeptides or tripeptides with C-terminal proline or hydroxyproline residues. The enzyme serves an important role in the recycling of proline, and may be rate limiting for the production of collagen.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5184; HGNC ID: HGNC:8840; UniProt: P12955; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000285.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
