SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PDK1 (pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PDK1 qPCR Primer Set – pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 1
About this gene: Pyruvate dehydrogenase is a mitochondrial multienzyme complex that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and is one of the major enzymes responsible for the regulation of homeostasis of carbohydrate fuels in mammals. The enzymatic activity is regulated by a phosphorylation/dephosphorylation cycle. Phosphorylation of PDH by a specific pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase leads to inactivation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5163; HGNC ID: HGNC:8809; UniProt: Q15118; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002610.5; Chromosome location: 2q31.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
