SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PDHX (pyruvate dehydrogenase complex component X, also called E3BP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PDHX qPCR Primer Set – pyruvate dehydrogenase complex component X
Also known as: DLDBP, E3BP, OPDX, PDHXD, PDX1, proX
About this gene: The pyruvate dehydrogenase complex is located in the mitochondrial matrix and catalyzes the conversion of pyruvate to acetyl coenzyme A. The PDH complex thereby links glycolysis to Krebs cycle. The PDH complex contains three catalytic subunits, E1, E2, and E3, two regulatory subunits, E1 kinase and E1 phosphatase, and a non-catalytic subunit, E3 binding protein. PDHX encodes a E3 binding protein subunit; also known as component X of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8050; HGNC ID: HGNC:21350; UniProt: O00330; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003477.3; Chromosome location: 11p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
