SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PDGFRA (platelet derived growth factor receptor alpha, also called PDGFR-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PDGFRA qPCR Primer Set – platelet derived growth factor receptor alpha
Also known as: CD140A, PDGFR-2, PDGFR2
About this gene: PDGFRA encodes a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. These growth factors are mitogens for cells of mesenchymal origin. The identity of the growth factor bound to a receptor monomer determines whether the functional receptor is a homodimer or a heterodimer, composed of both platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha and beta polypeptides.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5156; HGNC ID: HGNC:8803; UniProt: P16234; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006206.6; Chromosome location: 4q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
