About this gene: AIFM1 encodes a flavoprotein essential for nuclear disassembly in apoptotic cells, and it is found in the mitochondrial intermembrane space in healthy cells. Induction of apoptosis leads to the translocation of this protein to the nucleus where it affects chromosome condensation and fragmentation. In addition, AIFM1 product induces mitochondria to release the apoptogenic proteins cytochrome c and caspase-9.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
