Human PDC qPCR Primer Set – phosducin

Also known as: MEKA, PHD, PhLOP, PhLP

About this gene: PDC encodes a phosphoprotein, which is located in the outer and inner segments of the rod cells in the retina. The PDC protein may participate in the regulation of visual phototransduction or in the integration of photoreceptor metabolism. The PDC gene product modulates the phototransduction cascade by interacting with the beta and gamma subunits of the retinal G-protein transducin.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5132; HGNC ID: HGNC:8759; UniProt: P20941; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002597.5; Chromosome location: 1q31.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
