SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PCYT2 (phosphate cytidylyltransferase 2, ethanolamine) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PCYT2 qPCR Primer Set – phosphate cytidylyltransferase 2, ethanolamine
Also known as: ET, SPG82
About this gene: PCYT2 encodes a enzyme that catalyzes the formation of CDP-ethanolamine from CTP and phosphoethanolamine in the Kennedy pathway of phospholipid synthesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5833; HGNC ID: HGNC:8756; UniProt: Q99447; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002861.5; Chromosome location: 17q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
