SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PCDH8 (protocadherin 8, also called Arcadlin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PCDH8 qPCR Primer Set – protocadherin 8
Also known as: ARCADLIN, PAPC
About this gene: PCDH8 belongs to the protocadherin gene family, a subfamily of the cadherin superfamily. The gene encodes an integral membrane protein that is believed to function in cell adhesion in a CNS-specific manner. Unlike classical cadherins, which are generally encoded by 15-17 exons, PCDH8 includes only 3 exons.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5100; HGNC ID: HGNC:8660; UniProt: O95206; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002590.4; Chromosome location: 13q14.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
