SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PCDH11X (protocadherin 11 X-linked, also called PCDH-X) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PCDH11X qPCR Primer Set – protocadherin 11 X-linked
Also known as: PCDH-X, PCDH-Y, PCDH11, PCDH11Y, PCDH22, PCDHX, PPP1R119
About this gene: PCDH11X belongs to the protocadherin gene family, a subfamily of the cadherin superfamily. The PCDH11X protein consists of an extracellular domain containing 7 cadherin repeats, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic tail that differs from those of the classical cadherins. The protein is believed to play a fundamental role in cell-cell recognition essential for the segmental development and function of the central nervous system.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 27328; HGNC ID: HGNC:8656; UniProt: Q9BZA7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032968.5; Chromosome location: Xq21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
