SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PCBP1 (poly(rC) binding protein 1, also called rC) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PCBP1 qPCR Primer Set – poly(rC) binding protein 1
Also known as: HEL-S-85, HNRPE1, HNRPX, hnRNP-E1, hnRNP-X
About this gene: This intronless gene is believed to have been generated by retrotransposition of a fully processed PCBP-2 mRNA. This gene and PCBP-2 have paralogues which are thought to have arisen as a result of duplication events of entire genes. The PCBP1 protein appears to be multifunctional. The PCBP1 gene product along with PCBP-2 and hnRNPK corresponds to the major cellular poly-binding protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5093; HGNC ID: HGNC:8647; UniProt: Q15365; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006196.4; Chromosome location: 2p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
