SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PASK (PAS domain containing serine/threonine kinase, also called PASKIN) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PASK qPCR Primer Set – PAS domain containing serine/threonine kinase
Also known as: PASKIN, STK37
About this gene: PASK belongs to the serine/threonine kinase family that contains two PAS domains. Expression of PASK is regulated by glucose, and the PASK protein is involved in the regulation of insulin gene expression. Downregulation of PASK may play a role in type 2 diabetes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23178; HGNC ID: HGNC:17270; UniProt: Q96RG2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015148.4; Chromosome location: 2q37.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
