Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PAPSS2 (3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate synthase 2, also called SK2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human PAPSS2 qPCR Primer Set – 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate synthase 2

Also known as: ATPSK2, BCYM4, SK2

About this gene: Sulfation is a common modification of endogenous and exogenous compounds. In mammals, the sulfate source is 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate, created from ATP and inorganic sulfate. Two different tissue isoforms encoded by different genes synthesize PAPS. This gene encodes one of the two PAPS synthetases.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9060; HGNC ID: HGNC:8604; UniProt: O95340; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001015880.2; Chromosome location: 10q23.2-q23.31

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
