SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PAPSS1 (3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate synthase 1, also called SK1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PAPSS1 qPCR Primer Set – 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate synthase 1
Also known as: ATPSK1, PAPSS, SK1
About this gene: Three-prime-phosphoadenosine 5-prime-phosphosulfate is the sulfate donor cosubstrate for all sulfotransferase enzymes. SULTs catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many endogenous and exogenous compounds, including drugs and other xenobiotics. In humans, PAPS is synthesized from adenosine 5-prime triphosphate and inorganic sulfate by 2 isoforms, PAPSS1 and PAPSS2.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9061; HGNC ID: HGNC:8603; UniProt: O43252; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005443.5; Chromosome location: 4q25
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
