SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PAICS (phosphoribosylaminoimidazole carboxylase and phosphoribosylaminoimidazolesuccinocarboxamide synthase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PAICS qPCR Primer Set – phosphoribosylaminoimidazole carboxylase and phosphoribosylaminoimidazolesuccinocarboxamide synthase
Also known as: ADE2, ADE2H1, AIRC, PAICSD, PAIS
About this gene: PAICS encodes a bifunctional enzyme containing phosphoribosylaminoimidazole carboxylase activity in its N-terminal region and phosphoribosylaminoimidazole succinocarboxamide synthetase in its C-terminal region. The PAICS gene product catalyzes steps 6 and 7 of purine biosynthesis. The gene is closely linked and divergently transcribed with a locus that encodes an enzyme in the same pathway, and transcription of the two genes is coordinately regulated.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10606; HGNC ID: HGNC:8587; UniProt: P22234; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001079524.2; Chromosome location: 4q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
