SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PAEP (progestagen associated endometrial protein, also called GD) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PAEP qPCR Primer Set – progestagen associated endometrial protein
Also known as: GD, GdA, GdF, GdS, PAEG, PEP, PP14, ZIF-1
About this gene: PAEP belongs to the kernel lipocalin superfamily whose members share relatively low sequence similarity but have highly conserved exon/intron structure and three-dimensional protein folding. Most lipocalins are clustered on the long arm of chromosome 9. The encoded glycoprotein has been previously referred to as pregnancy-associated endometrial alpha-2-globulin, placental protein 14, and glycodelin, but has been officially named progestagen-associated endometrial protein.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5047; HGNC ID: HGNC:8573; UniProt: P09466; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002571.4; Chromosome location: 9q34.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
