SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PABPN1 (poly(A) binding protein nuclear 1, also called PABII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PABPN1 qPCR Primer Set – poly(A) binding protein nuclear 1
Also known as: OPMD, PAB2, PABII, PABP-2, PABP2
About this gene: PABPN1 encodes a abundant nuclear protein that binds with high affinity to nascent poly tails. The protein is required for progressive and efficient polymerization of poly tails at the 3' ends of eukaryotic transcripts and controls the size of the poly tail to about 250 nt. At steady-state, this protein is localized in the nucleus whereas a different poly binding protein is localized in the cytoplasm.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8106; HGNC ID: HGNC:8565; UniProt: Q86U42; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004643.4; Chromosome location: 14q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
