Human P4HA2 qPCR Primer Set – prolyl 4-hydroxylase subunit alpha 2
Also known as: MYP25, lncRNA-PE
About this gene: P4HA2 encodes a component of prolyl 4-hydroxylase, a key enzyme in collagen synthesis composed of two identical alpha subunits and two beta subunits. In collagen and related proteins, prolyl 4-hydroxylase catalyzes the formation of 4-hydroxyproline that is essential to the proper three-dimensional folding of newly synthesized procollagen chains.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8974; HGNC ID: HGNC:8547; UniProt: O15460; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001017974.2; Chromosome location: 5q31.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
