SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human P2RY1 (purinergic receptor P2Y1, also called P2Y1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human P2RY1 qPCR Primer Set – purinergic receptor P2Y1
Also known as: P2Y1, SARCC
About this gene: The product of P2RY1 belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors. This family has multiple receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor acts as a receptor for extracellular ATP and ADP. In platelets binding to ADP leads to mobilization of intracellular calcium ions via activation of phospholipase C, a change in platelet shape, and probably to platelet aggregation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5028; HGNC ID: HGNC:8539; UniProt: P47900; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002563.5; Chromosome location: 3q25.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
