SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human P2RX7 (purinergic receptor P2X 7, also called P2X7) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human P2RX7 qPCR Primer Set – purinergic receptor P2X 7
Also known as: P2X7
About this gene: The product of P2RX7 belongs to the family of purinoceptors for ATP. This receptor acts as a ligand-gated ion channel and is responsible for ATP-dependent lysis of macrophages through the formation of membrane pores permeable to large molecules. Activation of this nuclear receptor by ATP in the cytoplasm may be a mechanism by which cellular activity can be coupled to changes in gene expression.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5027; HGNC ID: HGNC:8537; UniProt: Q99572; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002562.6; Chromosome location: 12q24.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
