Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PIK3R5 (phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 5, also called p101-PI3K) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human PIK3R5 qPCR Primer Set – phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 5

Also known as: F730038I15Rik, FOAP-2, P101-PI3K, p101

About this gene: Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinases phosphorylate the inositol ring of phosphatidylinositol at the 3-prime position, and play important roles in cell growth, proliferation, differentiation, motility, survival and intracellular trafficking. The PI3Ks are divided into three classes: I, II and III, and only the class I PI3Ks are involved in oncogenesis. PIK3R5 encodes a 101 kD regulatory subunit of the class I PI3K gamma complex, which is a dimeric enzyme, consisting of a 110 kD catalytic subunit gamma and a regulatory subunit of either 55.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23533; HGNC ID: HGNC:30035; UniProt: Q8WYR1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001142633.3; Chromosome location: 17p13.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
