SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OXTR (oxytocin receptor, also called OT-R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OXTR qPCR Primer Set – oxytocin receptor
Also known as: OT-R, OTR
About this gene: The OXTR protein belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor family and acts as a receptor for oxytocin. Its activity is mediated by G proteins which activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The oxytocin-oxytocin receptor system is important for the uterus during parturition.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5021; HGNC ID: HGNC:8529; UniProt: P30559; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000916.4; Chromosome location: 3p25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
