SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OXCT2 (3-oxoacid CoA-transferase 2, also called SCOT-t) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OXCT2 qPCR Primer Set – 3-oxoacid CoA-transferase 2
Also known as: FKSG25, SCOTT
About this gene: The OXCT2 protein catalyzes the transfer of a CoA group from succinate to acetoacetate and is an important enzyme in ketone body catabolism. The OXCT2 protein localizes to the mitochondrion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64064; HGNC ID: HGNC:18606; UniProt: Q9BYC2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_022120.2; Chromosome location: 1p34.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
