SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OTX2 (orthodenticle homeobox 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OTX2 qPCR Primer Set – orthodenticle homeobox 2
Also known as: CPHD6, MCOPS5
About this gene: OTX2 belongs to the bicoid subfamily of homeodomain-containing transcription factors. The OTX2 protein acts as a transcription factor and is involved in brain, craniofacial, and sensory organ development. The OTX2 protein also influences the proliferation and differentiation of dopaminergic neuronal progenitor cells during mitosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5015; HGNC ID: HGNC:8522; UniProt: P32243; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021728.4; Chromosome location: 14q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
