SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OTX1 (orthodenticle homeobox 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OTX1 qPCR Primer Set – orthodenticle homeobox 1
About this gene: OTX1 belongs to the bicoid sub-family of homeodomain-containing transcription factors. The OTX1 protein acts as a transcription factor and may play a role in brain and sensory organ development. A similar protein in mouse is required for proper brain and sensory organ development and can cause epilepsy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5013; HGNC ID: HGNC:8521; UniProt: P32242; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014562.4; Chromosome location: 2p15
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
