SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OTUB1 (OTU deubiquitinase, ubiquitin aldehyde binding 1, also called hOTU1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OTUB1 qPCR Primer Set – OTU deubiquitinase, ubiquitin aldehyde binding 1
Also known as: HSPC263, OTB1, OTU1
About this gene: The product of OTUB1 belongs to the OTU superfamily of predicted cysteine proteases. The OTUB1 protein is a highly specific ubiquitin iso-peptidase, and cleaves ubiquitin from branched poly-ubiquitin chains but not from ubiquitinated substrates. The OTUB1 gene product interacts with another ubiquitin protease and an E3 ubiquitin ligase that inhibits cytokine gene transcription in the immune system.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55611; HGNC ID: HGNC:23077; UniProt: Q96FW1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017670.3; Chromosome location: 11q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
