Human OSTM1 qPCR Primer Set – osteoclastogenesis associated transmembrane protein 1
Also known as: GIPN, GL, HSPC019, OPTB5
About this gene: OSTM1 encodes a protein that may be involved in the degradation of G proteins via the ubiquitin-dependent proteasome pathway. The OSTM1 protein binds to members of subfamily A of the regulator of the G-protein signaling family through an N-terminal leucine-rich region. The OSTM1 protein also has a central RING finger-like domain and E3 ubiquitin ligase activity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 28962; HGNC ID: HGNC:21652; UniProt: Q86WC4; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014028.4; Chromosome location: 6q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
