Human OSBPL8 qPCR Primer Set – oxysterol binding protein like 8
Also known as: MST120, MSTP120, ORP8, OSBP10
About this gene: OSBPL8 belongs to a family of proteins containing an N-terminal pleckstrin homology domain and a highly conserved C-terminal oxysterol-binding protein-like sterol-binding domain. The OSBPL8 gene product binds mutliple lipid-containing molecules, including phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate and oxysterol, and promotes their exchange between the endoplasmic reticulum and the plasma membrane.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 114882; HGNC ID: HGNC:16396; UniProt: Q9BZF1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020841.5; Chromosome location: 12q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
