SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OSBPL5 (oxysterol binding protein like 5) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OSBPL5 qPCR Primer Set – oxysterol binding protein like 5
Also known as: OBPH1, ORP5
About this gene: OSBPL5 belongs to the oxysterol-binding protein family, a group of intracellular lipid receptors that play a key role in the maintenance of cholesterol balance in the body. Most members contain an N-terminal pleckstrin homology domain and a highly conserved C-terminal OSBP-like sterol-binding domain. OSBPL5 is reported to be imprinted, with preferential expression from the maternal allele only in placenta.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 114879; HGNC ID: HGNC:16392; UniProt: Q9H0X9; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020896.4; Chromosome location: 11p15.4
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
