Human SIGMAR1 qPCR Primer Set – sigma receptor chaperone 1

Also known as: ALS16, DSMA2, HMNR2, OPRS1, S1R, SIG-1R, SR-BP, SR-BP1, SRBP, hSigmaR1, sigma1R

About this gene: SIGMAR1 encodes a receptor protein that interacts with a variety of psychotomimetic drugs, including cocaine and amphetamines. The receptor is believed to play an important role in the cellular functions of various tissues linked to the endocrine, immune, and nervous systems. As indicated by its previous name, opioid receptor sigma 1, the product of SIGMAR1 was erroneously thought to function as an opioid receptor; it is now thought to be a non-opioid receptor.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10280; HGNC ID: HGNC:8157; UniProt: Q99720; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005866.4; Chromosome location: 9p13.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
