About this gene: Opsins are members of the guanine nucleotide-binding protein-coupled receptor superfamily. OPN4 encodes a photoreceptive opsin protein that is expressed within the ganglion and amacrine cell layers of the retina. In mouse, retinal ganglion cell axons expressing OPN4 projected to the suprachiasmatic nucleus and other brain nuclei involved in circadian photoentrainment.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
