SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OPCML (opioid binding protein/cell adhesion molecule like, also called OBCAM) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OPCML qPCR Primer Set – opioid binding protein/cell adhesion molecule like
Also known as: IGLON1, OBCAM, OPCM
About this gene: OPCML belongs to the IgLON subfamily in the immunoglobulin protein superfamily of proteins. The encoded preprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protein. The OPCML protein is localized in the plasma membrane and may have an accessory role in opioid receptor function.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4978; HGNC ID: HGNC:8143; UniProt: Q14982; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001012393.5; Chromosome location: 11q25
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
