SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OGN (osteoglycin, also called OIF) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OGN qPCR Primer Set – osteoglycin
Also known as: OG, OIF, SLRR3A
About this gene: OGN belongs to the small leucine-rich proteoglycan family of proteins. The OGN protein induces ectopic bone formation in conjunction with transforming growth factor beta and may regulate osteoblast differentiation. High expression of the OGN protein may be linked to elevated heart left ventricular mass.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4969; HGNC ID: HGNC:8126; UniProt: P20774; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014057.5; Chromosome location: 9q22.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
