SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OGDH (oxoglutarate dehydrogenase, also called E1o) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OGDH qPCR Primer Set – oxoglutarate dehydrogenase
Also known as: AKGDH, E1k, E1o, HsOGDH, KGD1, OGDC, OGDH-E1, OGDH2, OGDHD
About this gene: OGDH encodes one subunit of the 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex. This complex catalyzes the overall conversion of 2-oxoglutarate to succinyl-CoA and CO during the Krebs cycle. A congenital deficiency in 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase activity is believed to lead to hypotonia, metabolic acidosis, and hyperlactatemia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4967; HGNC ID: HGNC:8124; UniProt: Q02218; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002541.4; Chromosome location: 7p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
