SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ATP2B1 (ATPase plasma membrane Ca2+ transporting 1, also called PMCA1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ATP2B1 qPCR Primer Set – ATPase plasma membrane Ca2+ transporting 1
Also known as: MRD66, PMCA1, PMCA1kb
About this gene: The ATP2B1 protein belongs to the family of P-type primary ion transport ATPases characterized by the formation of an aspartyl phosphate intermediate during the reaction cycle. These enzymes remove bivalent calcium ions from eukaryotic cells against very large concentration gradients and play a critical role in intracellular calcium homeostasis. The expression of different isoforms and splice variants is regulated in a developmental, tissue- and cell type-specific manner, suggesting that these pumps are functionally adapted to the physiological needs of particular cells and tissues.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 490; HGNC ID: HGNC:814; UniProt: P20020; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001366521.1; Chromosome location: 12q21.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
