About this gene: This interferon-induced gene encodes a protein that synthesizes 2',5'-oligoadenylates. The OAS1 protein is central to innate cellular antiviral response, and has been implicated in other cellular processes like cell growth and apoptosis. Polymorphisms in OAS1 have been linked to susceptibility to viral infection, including SARS-CoV-2, and diabetes mellitus, type 1.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
