Human GPR143 qPCR Primer Set – G protein-coupled receptor 143

Also known as: NYS6, OA1

About this gene: GPR143 encodes a protein that binds to heterotrimeric G proteins and is targeted to melanosomes in pigment cells. The GPR143 protein is believed to be involved in intracellular signal transduction mechanisms. Mutations in GPR143 cause ocular albinism type 1, also referred to as Nettleship-Falls type ocular albinism, a severe visual disorder.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4935; HGNC ID: HGNC:20145; UniProt: P51810; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000273.3; Chromosome location: Xp22.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
