Human NUFIP1 qPCR Primer Set – nuclear FMR1 interacting protein 1
Also known as: NUFIP, Rsa1, bA540M5.1
About this gene: NUFIP1 encodes a nuclear RNA binding protein that contains a C2H2 zinc finger motif and a nuclear localization signal. The NUFIP1 protein is linked to the nuclear matrix in perichromatin fibrils and, in neurons, localizes to the cytoplasm in association with endoplasmic reticulum ribosomes. The NUFIP1 protein interacts with the fragile X mental retardation protein, the tumor suppressor protein BRCA1, upregulates RNA polymerase II transcription, and is involved in box C/D snoRNP biogenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 26747; HGNC ID: HGNC:8057; UniProt: Q9UHK0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012345.3; Chromosome location: 13q14.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
