SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NSMAF (neutral sphingomyelinase activation associated factor) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NSMAF qPCR Primer Set – neutral sphingomyelinase activation associated factor
Also known as: FAN, GRAMD5
About this gene: NSMAF encodes a WD-repeat protein that binds the cytoplasmic sphingomyelinase activation domain of the 55kD tumor necrosis factor receptor. The NSMAF protein is required for TNF-mediated activation of neutral sphingomyelinase and may play a role in regulating TNF-induced cellular responses such as inflammation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8439; HGNC ID: HGNC:8017; UniProt: Q92636; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003580.4; Chromosome location: 8q12.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
