SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human NRG1 (neuregulin 1, also called Pro-NRG1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human NRG1 qPCR Primer Set – neuregulin 1
Also known as: ARIA, GGF, GGF2, HGL, HRG, HRG1, HRGA, MST131, MSTP131, NDF, NRG1-IT2, SMDF
About this gene: The NRG1 protein is a membrane glycoprotein that mediates cell-cell signaling and plays a critical role in the growth and development of multiple organ systems. An extraordinary variety of different isoforms are produced from NRG1 through alternative promoter usage and splicing. These isoforms are expressed in a tissue-specific manner and differ significantly in their structure, and are classified as types I, II, III, IV, V and VI. Dysregulation of NRG1 has been linked to diseases such as cancer, schizophrenia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3084; HGNC ID: HGNC:7997; UniProt: Q02297; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013964.5; Chromosome location: 8p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
