Human NR3C2 qPCR Primer Set – nuclear receptor subfamily 3 group C member 2

Also known as: MCR, MLR, MR, NR3C2VIT

About this gene: NR3C2 encodes a mineralocorticoid receptor, which mediates aldosterone actions on salt and water balance within restricted target cells. The protein acts as a ligand-dependent transcription factor that binds to mineralocorticoid response elements in order to transactivate target genes. Mutations in NR3C2 cause autosomal dominant pseudohypoaldosteronism type I, a disorder characterized by urinary salt wasting.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4306; HGNC ID: HGNC:7979; UniProt: P08235; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000901.5; Chromosome location: 4q31.23

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
